ATC Training
The state approved professional development for the Advanced Technical Credit (ATC) program consists of two training sessions: Part I and Part II. Part I is a general overview of the ATC program, is required of teachers to be ATC certified and is available online here. Part I must be completed prior to Part II, which is course specific. This training meets requirements for ATC Training Part II.

THOA Awards Luncheon
(pre-registration required)
The THOA Awards Luncheon offers health science teachers an opportunity to network and socialize. During the luncheon, THOA will present awards and scholarships. The THOA board of directors will be installed; years of membership in THOA will be recognized and fundraiser winners will be announced.
Health Science Skills Lab
Join other Health Science teachers in a round robin approach to learning health care competencies required by the new TEKS that have yet to be mastered. Explore simple, entry level skills demonstrated by licensed nursing, chiropractic, dental, physical therapy, and emergency medical personnel in this hands-on approach to mastering skills needed to teach students current health care standards. Participants may come and go as they explore those skills they feel need enhancing.
