TCEC 2010 marked a success for the first event of its kind with more than 1,800 attendees, 75 exhibitors and almost 200 sessions spanning across multiple CTE disciplines.

Keynote speakers James Amps, Jason Dorsey and Kim Green were highlights of the conference with their thought provoking and entertaining sessions.

Attendees learned about social media, blogs, wikis, YouTube and more in the Tech 2.0 sessions and TEA gave updates on changes occurring for the upcoming school year.

More than 120 new or next-to-new administrators and counselors participated in CTE Program Management Training, 600 attended New TEKS Training and 140 health science, business and marketing teachers prepared for their first year in the classroom during new teacher orientation.

Attendees left equipped to tackle the biggest challenges in their districts and improve CTE programs in classrooms and work-based learning settings across the state.

We look forward to seeing you next year!
