A Word from Your CTAT President
Posted by TCEC on 06/16/11 in Blog
I would like to personally encourage each of you to attend the Texas Career Education Conference. From my perspective, networking with peers in the CTE community has been the most beneficial for me as a professional. The ideas, lessons, and activities included in this conference has been highly valuable to me as an educator. We all like new and innovative ideas to take back to our districts!
Belonging to a professional organization in your content area is as critically important as your access to quality professional development. Together, our membership numbers ensure a strong voice in support of career and technical education in Texas. There is a place for all in the Career and Technology Association of Texas and I encourage you to stop by to visit our membership table during the conference or visit ctat.org.
I look forward to seeing you!
Mary Maddox
CTAT President
